Environmental Susutainability

In Social Study, we have been learning about Sustainability. Today our teacher has asked us to do a matching definition into each of the keywords. The words are about Environmental Sustainability. We also have to colour code them into different groups where green means good, orange means it's balanced(no worse, no better) and lastly red means it's really bad

Green - About improving environmental sustainability.
Orange- About keeping environmental sustainability the same.
Red- ABout environmental sustainability getting worse

Sustainability is about maintaining the environment and providing human needs without destroying the environment. Sustainability is related to the 3 aspects which are economic, social and environmental.
Environmental Sustainability is about not using all of the resources completely where it can end up damaging the planet. In order to get resources, we have to do something which is maintaining it in a good way. We could do this by recycling things, used renewable resources and we also could do conservation.

Environmental Sustainability is important because we rely on the environment and in order to live we need things that the only Environment can provide which are air, food and water and many more things. We should protect because If we didn't do any action to protect or help, the problem will get worse and might be too late to save the environment. The outcome will gonna be more serious and there's a chance that it will affect us.

Self Directed Learning

I think I have tried to do my goal last week and I have published my work on time but I think there's always a space to improve.

This week in English, my goal is to focus on what we are currently learning in class which is "The Merchant of Shakespear". My goal is to finish all the task that I am meant to do and publish on my blog. To stay in an expert license is also my goal for this week.

Introducing Shakespeare

It cost a lot to go to the play
There's no any sit most of the people are standing up

Women are not allowed to act, all the female roles are played by men.
They have props, costume, makeup to make the men looked like a female

1. How do Portia’s first words compare with Antonio’s?
Antonio- In sooth, I know not why I am so sad
Portia- By my troth Nerissa, my little body is aweary of this great world
Actually, I think Portia's first has no difference with Antonio because she's feeling down or tired. But if there's a difference I think it's the part why Antonio doesn't know why his sad and Portia is tired because she's tired of this great world

I think she's unhappy because she has to marry a husband but she can't choose or refuse who she dislikes she's controlled by the wishes of her dead father.

3. Do you think Nerissa talking with Portia about her options is helpful, why?
At some point, it's helpful because she's trying to explain everything to Portia and I think Nerissa is just asking questions about Portia's suitors to hear what Portia think about them.

4. What does Portia’s think of her suitors so far?
She doesn't like her suitors because she will be marrying a guy with a lot of faces, in other words, the guy has a lot of attitudes.

1. Shylock is a moneylender. ‘Three thousand ducats for three months and Antonio bound...I think I may take his bond(Black P.27) Do you think Shylock is happy to lend Bassanio money? How do you know?
No, because he knows that Bassanio is broke and he thinks that Bassanio may not pay him back. But at the same time, he is maybe happy to lend money to Antonio but not Bassanio and I think Bassanio used Antonio's name that's why he lends money.

His money lending business because Shylock thinks that anything could happen during the shipping business.
