In English, we have been working in Novel Study and we needed to complete one of the tasks and I choose to do the word that I didn't know the meaning and write their meanings. You can also make a crossword or quiz to make it more fun. ( I added the answer sheet so you can check If your answer is right.)

Whare Tapa Wha || Health

Whare Tapa Wha is about the 4 Wellbeing Values. They are Physical, Spiritual, Mental/Emotional, Social. This is useful to understand because of Good wellbeing is important to us and there should have 4 sides because If we don't have one of them we're not us and our personality will not be complete and The Whare Tapa Wha is just like showing who we are and they should be complete.

I contributed by helping my pair to finish our Whare Tapa Wha and designing ours.

It was challenging when we don't have enough time and we need to spend 10 minutes of Morning Tea.

Ping Pong Ball Experiment

The purpose of this blog post is to demonstrate the scientific method. This is part it the end of the topic assessment.

Aim:
The Aim of the experiment is to measure how high the ball bounce depending on how high you drop it from

Hypothesis:
The hypothesis is the more you drop the ball higher the more it's gonna bounces.

Method:
Step 1: Gather all the Equipment
Step 2: Set it up.
Step 3: Person(a) should hold the ruler vertically and straight.
Step 4: The other person(b) should look at the ruler/measure the height the ping pong ball drop.
Step 5: The person(a) holding the ruler should drop the ping pong ball in three different kinds of height.
Step 6: The other person(b) should pay attention to the ball& ruler
Step 7: You should do three trial in that three different kinds of height to compare.
Step 8: Put the result.
Step 9: Add the three trial together in 40m and divide the answer into three.
Step 10: Repeat step 9 in the other height.

Results - Graph:

Discussion + Conclusion:
The higher you drop the ball the higher it's bounce because of the more speed up the higher its gonna bounce. It matches my hypothesis because when I thought when I drop it higher it will bounce higher.

Evaluation:
It's improved because I followed the method and we did 3 trials and we drop it different height and we compared them if there are any different.

Making Scones || Home Economics

Reflection

In home-economics we made scones. We made three types of scones the first one is the Plain scones, Cheese scones, and Pizza Scones.

I actually enjoyed making it because it's easy to make it. My favorite flavor was the pizza scones because it was cheesy and I can actually taste the flavor. my least favourite was the ordinary scone because it tastes plain.

My Family Crest || Social Studies

In Social Studies we have been talking about Coat of Arms/Crest. These past few weeks we have been making a crest that will represent my family.

What is the coat of arms?
Coat of Arms is a shield with a symbol and figurines that represent a family, person, a group or other organizations.

Why do we have then?
We have a coat of arms because the symbols on a coat of arms are meant to represent the achievements of the person, state, or corporation to whom or which the arms were granted.

Why are they important?
Coat of arms or Crest are important because it uses for national coats of arms is as the main symbol on the covers of passports, the document used internationally to prove the citizenship of a person.

I made a coat of arms or a crest that will symbolize and represent my family.

Philippine flag - I put a Philippine flag since I am from the Philippines and there's a meaning of the color in the flag; a horizontal blue stripe for peace, truth, and justice; and a horizontal red stripe for patriotism and valor.
Eight rayed sun- The meaning of eight-rayed the sun in the center of the white triangles represents the first eight provinces in the Philippines.
Three Stars- The three stars represent the three main island group in the Philippines: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao
Baybayin or Alibata- On the opposite side of the three stars is the Baybayin or Alibata. Baybayin is an ancient script used primarily by the Tagalog people.
Rosary- I add a rosary because of people in the Philippines are religious. It also means showing respect to other people and being faithful to God.
