Tomorrow, When The War Began: Chapter Thirteen

Must-Do Questions: 

1. All the teenagers have a specific role to play in their group. Describe the roles each teenager plays?
Homer is like the chief in their group because he's mostly the one whos deciding on what they gonna do.
Ellie is like a co-chief in their group, she's also thinking for their group and she takes the responsibility of the group.
Corrie also makes sure that everyone is safe and she's supportive, brave and gentle.
Kevin tends to get scared easily he also having a lot of seconds thoughts but he is loyal to his friends.
Lee is has a shy and intelligent personality. He gets shot in his legs that make him more vulnerable
Robyn is very religious as she doesn't like violence.

2. According to what the teenagers hear on Corrie's radio, why would America be best not to get involved in Australia’s struggle?
- It's for America not to involve because she will find itself in the longest, costliest and bloodiest war in history.

3. Why is Australia being invaded?
- According to the novel, they being invaded because of reducing imbalance within the region and there's a chance that it's about not sharing resources equally

4. A reader can infer many things from the snippet of news heard over Corrie’s radio. Which country or countries are likely to have invaded Australia?
- It's probably those countries who have lacked resources and there's a chance that it's Taiwan who invaded them because base on international radio they heard Taiwanese.

5. How are the prisoners being treated?
The prisoners are being held in humanitarian conditions and seem like they are treated well and nothing violence is going on there.

6. What do Kevin and Robyn argue about? Do you think Robyn’s points are fair?
- They were arguing about the situation and the invaders. I think Robyn's point is fair because on her own perspective she understands why those people invaded them.


7. “Paradise of Hell” is an oxymoron. What does it mean?
- A place called Hell but Peaceful like heaven.

8. Kevin’s hatred of the invaders is quite extreme. Why do you think he is so angry?
- Because he thinks that everything is going on is unfair because he thinks that you cannot just come in and invade and take everything.

9. The group take turns discussing the extent to which they’d go to make a difference. Order the characters by their commitment to overthrowing the enemy?:
1. Kevin

5. Corrie

10. The group is starting to think about long term survival in Hell. What are some clues to this?
- Get more supplies and make a proper headquarters. Do a bit of tough butchering

11. What does the group decide they must do at this point?
- Half of the group tried to go down and observe the situation in Showground and the other half of the group try to get more supplies and equipment for them to survive to live in Hell.

12. Despite the fact that the teenagers are in the midst of a war zone, evading enemy soldiers and planning guerrilla operations, they still find time to harbour romances. Do you think this is realistic? I think there's a chance that is realistic.
