Tomorrow, When The War Began || Chapter Twelve

1. “They say teenagers can sleep all day”. Is this true? Do you agree? Does Ellie still see herself as a typical teenager?
- I don't think most of the teenagers sleep all day because most of the teenager tends to stay up late and just sleep 4- 6 hours a day. For what's happening right now I don't think Ellie still see herself as a typical teenager. She has done a lot, she's thinking really matured.
2. Ellie’s dream at the beginning of the chapter is rather nonsensical, as dreams are wont to be. Is there any meaning to it? Try and explain what Ellie’s subconscious could be thinking about: why is her dad cooking for the whole town? Why did Father Cronin ignore Ellie’s greeting? Why was Corrie 8 years old again? Why were they sailing off on a  boat? Why was Lee undressing?
- Considering what's happening at the moment I think there's a hidden meaning behind Ellie's dream before. She might be thinking that something is happening in there town, like an event that is going, that is must be the reason why her dad is cooking for the whole town. Father Cronin might not saw Ellie as so many visitors at Ellie's home. The reason why Corrie is 8 years old again is that it was just a dream and Ellie is just recalling the dream. They are probably going somewhere that is why they are sailing on a boat. Lee was undressing because as Ellie said it was hot.
3. Why is it so terrible that Chris falls asleep while on sentry duty? How does Ellie react? Why do you think she reacts this way? How does she feel about her reaction later?
- Because there might be something bad happened while they are all asleep and his job was to guard but he fell asleep. Ellie reaction was really furious, she shouted, screamed and kicked him. She was shocked at herself and she felt bad about what she did.
4. Back in Hell, Ellie’s dreams are far more ominous. Explain why Ellie is dreaming of her fears.
- The reason why Ellie is dreaming of her fear is that she might be still startled about what is going on and she might be stress because a lot of things happened since the trial started.
