Chapter 30 – Amari
Chaos. Before this moment, I never truly understood the word. Chaos meant Mother’s screams before a luncheon. It meant the scramble of oloyes to their gold-lined chairs.
Now chaos surrounds me, pulsing through every breath and heartbeat. It sings as blood splatters through the air, snickers with delight as boats explode into oblivion.
A message I take from this scene is that since Amari is a princess she never know the true meaning of chaos and saw the true chaos outside the palace. Another message I take from this is that the word 'chaos' has a different meaning for different people, I may not experience a chaotic event in my life but I heard of it - when the people are panic buying necessities because of the pandemic.
